Cedar Mountain Stables is a fully functional stable and one of the must-do tasks is shoeing the horses. Even in ancient times it was recognized that horses need additional protection for their hard working feet. One of the earliest forms of hoof protection was found in Asia, where rawhide, leather and other materials were used for therapeutic reasons and protection of the feet.
