Murder Rock
There's a legend heard around the hollows of Branson Creek about Murder Rock, a place where Civil War bushwhacker Alfred Bolin and his gang were known to ambush travelers. Murder Rock is part of the acclaimed Branson Creek Residential Community, on the eastern edge of the property, and home to a golf course bearing its name.
Designed by Landmark Land Company Inc., the 18-hole Championship Golf Course at John Daly's Murder Rock Golf and Country Club enhances the magnificent landscape of the Ozark Mountains, incorporating the natural beauty of the land with lush fairways and pristine greens. The course plays to a Par 71, and ranges in length of 6,600 yards from the Tournament Tees to 5,000 yards from the Forward Tees. Patrons are treated to a wonderful variety of golf holes by design, exciting Par 5's, challenging Par 4's and dramatic Par 3's.
Payne Stewart Golf Club
The Payne Stewart Golf Club is a tribute to Missouri native and favorite son, Payne Stewart. It is difficult not to be affected by the story of Payne’s life and to feel his legacy when you play this championship golf course. Each hole at the PSGC is interwoven with a story of Stewart’s life and golfing experiences throughout his career. The course was designed by Chuck Smith with design consultant and PGA Professional, Bobby Clampett.
In preparation for your round, imagine the tempo and grace of The Payne Stewart Swing. The beautiful image of his flowing arc and gold-toed footwork will create an effortless balance to help carry you through your round. Try to emulate Payne's game and enjoy the natural beauty and challenges of the Payne Stewart Golf Club.
The strategic character of the PSGC is showcased on the opening hole. A tee ball along the right side may leave a blind shot- so carry the left side bunker for your best approach to this tight green!
Ledgestone
A Branson Golf Course unlike any other. Described by Golf Digest as a "masterpiece of mountain golf architecture," LedgeStone’s 18-hole championship layout offers the kind of golfing experience where "players don't want the round to end." With panoramic vistas of the ancient Ozark Mountains and the spectacular natural beauty of serene water, faultless Bent Grass greens and tree-lined Zoysia fairways, LedgeStone inspires Branson golfers and non-golfers alike. Along with your woods, irons and putter, be sure your golf bag includes a camera when you tackle this Branson golf course!
LedgeStone’s 15th hole has achieved signature status as a renowned Par 3. Looks are deceiving, and gravity is key to finding and holding the green.
Top of the Rock
Big Cedar Lodge’s own golf course with nine signature holes will be opening in the not so distant future. Stay tuned for emerging details.
