| Big Cedar Paint Out & Guido Frick Oil Painting Workshop |

Workshop: This workshop will help you to integrate your soul and personal artistic language into your visual impressions. Frick will give you the confidence to choose value, hue, and temperatures quickly and allow you to spend more of your time translating your emotions and excitement into brush strokes. The workshop will be from held from 9:30-4:00 all three days. All artists from beginners to more advanced painters are welcome to attend.
Paint Out: Allow yourself to be immersed in the beauty of the Ozarks in this open air (en plein air) competition. The Paint Out will consist of two and a half days of painting, including a Quick Draw event and a Night Paint Out. Your artwork will be displayed in the Big Cedar Lodge registration building during the competition. All of the resort guests as well as the general public will be able to purchase your work throughout the event as well as during the art show that will be on the last day. The judging for the competition will be done by Guido Frick. He will also be completing a demonstration painting during the event that will be open to everyone to watch. The painting from this is demo will be auctioned off, with the proceeds benefitting the Branson Arts Council. All 2-D mediums are welcome.
